First of all, thanks so much for visiting my blog. It’s been an idea for a long time and I’m so happy its finally becoming a reality.
I’ve blogged (about books mostly) for a few years now. I’ve done some freelance writing and also worked for a food allergy website. As far as allergies go………….let’s just say I know a thing or two about allergies.
I’ve had seasonal and environmental allergy problems for several years but had no experience with food allergies until my oldest child was born. He wasn’t officially diagnosed with food allergies until he was almost two, but we had to change his formula three times when he was an infant and he had eczema and asthma as early as three and six months of age, respectively
My other two children have mild food and environmental allergies (although my youngest child has outgrown hers). I have also developed food allergies to foods that never bothered me before.

Despite our multiple allergies, we still live (relatively) normal lives.
We play sports.
We go on field trips!
We go to VBS, and other church and summer camps and activities!
We LOVE to bake and discover new allergy friendly recipes!
I will be posting my thoughts and experiences, general posts about allergies, and recipes. Sometimes there may just be regular posts about daily life…..who knows? I also plan to review different things, and I will share products that I love.
I created this blog as a way to write, and continue to reach out and be a part of the food allergy community. And to spread awareness, because I think that is the most important thing. A lot of severe reactions could be prevented if more people were aware of the severity of allergies and how to not only treat reactions, but measures to take to prevent them.
Thanks for stopping by!!
